So… I'm not dead or anything. I thought I'd let you know that. I'm alive and … well … sneezing. Ah the sun, she came out and brought with her all the little polleny harbingers of misery. I'm a bit miffed actually because it's a bit early. I normally get through most of May (which is my favourite month of the year) without the snot monster coming for me. I'm only hoping that as it's started early, it might finish early too. Sniff.
Other than that I'm quite busy at work. This is the time of year for assessments and reviews and planning and all that stuff. It's a bit knackering and time-consuming but mostly it's thought consuming. My mind is so far away from writing that I haven't been able to cobble a blog post together for a couple of weeks. And I have loads of things to write about. I have my annual bluebell post to do (I have 2 posts of photos; the first are the crappy ones I took of my woodland walk and the second are the wonderful ones that Hubby took), I have a post planned to review Cindy Pon's Silver Phoenix, a similar one for Sarwat Chadda's Devil's Kiss - not to mention a very thoughtful and reflective post on household appliances. I just have to find the time..
Ah time ... that slippery little bugger.
In the meanwhile if you don't hear from me - blame the Koala. I hear she's got her claws out and my entrails may soon be on display for all. Sorry McK. It's just that I have this thing called a life...
OW! Bloody hell those things are sharp!

I'll take a post every two weeks! Glad you're still alive, sorry for the blasted pollen.
I'm glad you're still alive, although not for much longer by the sound of it unless you manage to placate the koala somehow.
We'll have to catch up when school is less manic.
Ah, allergies...
Still, it appears you're employed in very good things ; )
Isn't it annoying when life gets in the way of blogging?
I eagerly await, with happiest feelings of nostaligia and mutual May-love, for your bluebell post. Sorry to hear about those sniffles.
Pollen - the bane of existence.
Koala claws - the bane of non-writing.
Good to see you however briefly or infrequently.
I normally go around the end of May and disappear from the summer for the whole of June.
It's a curse.
Like your revamped look, btw.
Natalie - that's very sweet of you to say. I'll definitely be doing another post in the nest couple of days so hopefully you won't have to wait that long.
Still alive FHH and very accepting of the inevitable thrashing. I haven't been a good writer. It's my job - it just gets on the way. Luckily there's a half term coming up in a couple of weeks... I could meet you for lunch maybe?
Ah yes Kiersten my nasal passages apparently can't tell the difference between pollen and biological warfare. Still it gives me loads of material to whine about. More whining = more blogging!
It IS Bee! Dashed inconvenient! The bluebells are perfect right now. It's magical in the woods. I have my photos loaded - just have to write the text. The second post will have better pictures as Hubby is far more talented in that respect. I couldn't have them mixed up - his would make mine look pathetic.
Banes indeed Sarah - although to be fair the scary Koala is doing it for our benefit. The pollen is just being mean. I've been very absent the last month - so much to catch up on...
That's what I'm normally like Whirl - I pissed off as hell to be starting this early. Part of me has been hoping I have a cold so at least I know it'll get better...Thing is colds don't normally make my face itchy.
Glad you like the new look. I was getting tired of the fussiness of the other ones.
I'd love to meet up. When is half term?
I'm off work from 25th - 29th May if that's any good for you ;0)
"Ah time ... that slippery little bugger." You couldn't be more correct.
On second thoughts yes.. you can be... you are more correct about McK's claws. :D
Beware - They'll strike you when you most expect them. lol
Those little yellow monsters are out to get me as well. I've got a little white shield that helps a lot, but lately some barbs have been getting past, and the itchy sneezes are running rampant. I hope you feel better soon.
Ah, if the Koala is with you then I can take some days off without fear of retribution!
Hope your hayfever disappears quick!
Sounds good, Jane. Maybe we should go to email?
yup, just sit still, squint a bit, and set your imagination free...
